HOGWARTS
HOUSE: Slytherin. YEAR: Seventh. PATRONUS: The fox is a natural trickster, and brilliantly charismatic. Those with this patronus are often more reserved, but do have the social capability to speak to just about anyone. They are strongly ambitious and observant of the behaviour of others, watching key points in what others do and storing them for further reference, when they may need them. They are good talkers, meaning they can convince people to do what they want and make them think it was their idea in the first place. The happiest memories of a fox is getting what they want, and a person who thinks on these things fondly may very well have a fox as their patronus. The most common house for a fox patronus is Slytherin. The most common signs are Libra and Gemini. ( credit )
NOTABLE FAMILY MEMBERS: Elena Petrova, younger sister, Fifth Year Slytherin.
KATERINA PETROVA
- Pureblood.
- Eldest daughter of Pureblooded believers and Death Eater supporters.
- Disowned by father at fifteen for sympathetic Muggle/Muggleborn beliefs and her friendship with a Muggle (and Muggleborns at Hogwarts).
- Anti Death Eaters.
- Significant other: Aleksander, 19, Bulgarian, pre-med, Muggle. ( PB: Jon Kortajarena )
- Aspirations: To be the Minister for Magic, Muggle barister.
- Lives in an apartment in New York City with Aleksander.
- Aloof, intimidating, overprotective, incredibly intelligent. Controlling, manipulative, scheming, ambitious, cunning. Quirky, humorous, violent.
- Never had any aspirations to be Prefect or Head Girl despite intelligence. Partly due to her father being Prefect and Head Boy.
- Dislikes Quidditch.
- A black, fluffy cat named Vasilka is her familiar; given to her by Alek. This cat cannot be trusted. It only responds to Bulgarian.
- Despite being disowned, she writes frequently to her mother. Doesn't have a relationship with her father.
- Alek writes to her frequently via owl — her owl is a pure white, large and soft bird that often travels great distances to deliver correspondence between the two. Her cat also carries letters to an owl of a friend in Hogsmeade, who delivers the letters via Muggle postman.
- Calls Elena Tsvete, which means flower.
- Bought Elena her owl with money she wanted to use on robes, and named it for her.
- Best subjects: Apparation, Arithmancy, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration.
- Poorest subjects: Herbology, Muggle Studies (she hardly pays attention when she knows everything via Aleksander anyway), Wizard Duelling (she's too violent/goes for the throat).
NOTES
- Aleksander is the boy whom Katherine had a relationship with back in the 1400s, and is the father of Nadia.
- Her relationship with her mother is reflective to what it was like in the 1400s. Same goes for her father.
- This is a Katherine who never lost her family, and never forgot what it was like to believe in love.
